Ipad Update

We are now at a 1:4 ration with Ipads. Our goal is 1:1. Hopefully by the end of next year we will meet our goal.

Leader In Me and RES TV

We now have a student reading a character education passage to students every morning on RES TV. This is to tie The Leader in Me and the 7 Habits into the morning broadcast. The students love it and it is another way for them to shine at Riverton Elementary School.

Book Beat

One of our segments on RES TV is called "Book Beat." This is where a student can share a book they have read and enjoyed with the entire school. Here is the latest "Book Beat" student with his book:

Visitor and Volunteer Sign-In

Just like with our new Checkin/Checkout process using the Ipad and Google Docs, I have also created a Visitor and Volunteer Sign-In sheet using the Ipad. Our front desk has had a 2013 technology facelift!!

New way to check students in and out.

We have thrown away the old clipboard and joined 2013. You will no longer check students in and out using the the checkin/checkout form and clipboard that has been at the front desk for 10 years. We now have ipads with Google Doc forms for this purpose. The next time you are at RES, please check this out and let me know what you think.
